Design is a decision. Every layout, every hierarchy, every interaction is a choice about what matters and what does not. My UX/UI work starts from the product's core purpose and works outward, building experiences that feel inevitable rather than designed.

When a brief calls for "Brazilianness" and Gilberto Gil, the market almost always expects collage, tropical foliage, and saturated color. I was challenged to reinterpret the message of "Andar com Fé" (Walk with Faith) for a creative challenge. The safe route was to follow that tropicália playbook. I chose the opposite one.

What fascinates me most about art direction is pulling an icon out of the box people expect it to live in. So I built this visual experiment around a fictional collab: Calvin Klein x Gilberto Gil. The idea was to cross the brand's language of skin, vulnerability, and minimalism with an artist who spent his entire life breaking rules around behavior and masculinity.

Skipping the obvious references, I used the line "I have to have empty hands, a bare soul and body" as a graphic intervention. In this context, faith becomes a manifesto about shedding ego and armor.

This project also became a great excuse to keep exploring what AI can add to my process. It's fun to see how far the possibilities stretch once it meets a clear creative direction.

The result is a pure editorial exercise: dense photography, a rigid grid, plenty of breathing room. A project as a reminder that Brazilian culture can also be translated into luxury, minimalism, and aesthetic subversion.
